Harvey Brunt - General Manager

I was appointed to the position of General Manager in February 2007. I bring a good history of the Society (last 15years) as I was President and then Secretary over that period. I saw the formation of Focus 2000 in 1996 and the progression of that company as a service provider.

My wife, Jocelyn, and I have five adult children. Our daughter Leonie, now 24, has cerebral palsy, hence my interest.

My background has been management in the provision of engineering services around the world. These skills, together with my knowledge of the NZ disability sector as a parent of a user, provide a good basis to manage the mission of the Society, namely, ‘to enhance the lives of people with cerebral palsy in NZ’
