During my research on
the history of Cerebral Palsy in NZ I have interviewed many older
parents, who revealed the hardships of yesteryear. They told of
tough times with very little support and saw a dim future for their
sons or daughters.
Those were the days when official policies pointed to a life in
institutions, tucked away from the public eye.
Thankfully times have changed but the modern era brings with it
a whole new set of problems. I would like to hear from the younger
parents to find out what hurdles they needed to overcome to give
their children a brighter future.

with Cerebral Palsy? |
