“Know How” Expo a must for Diaries
(Thursday 27 May)

Do you care for children with special needs? If so are you consistently frustrated when trying to decipher who does what, what activities are available and where to go for information?

The “Know How” Expo, organized and sponsored by the Wilson Home Trust, will ease your frustrations. It’s hard to believe but it’s true, a free information day for people who care for or work with children and young adults who may have a disability, learning difference or special need. All together in one place, for one day, you will be able to talk to people from support groups, service providers, recreation, toy and equipment suppliers, education and health professionals, therapists and people who do great things for children with special needs.

"Know How Expo 2008"

The Expo is on Thursday 27 May 9.30am - 2pm @ North Harbour Stadium. Refreshments will be available to purchase. There is plenty of parking, including disability car parks. Everyone is welcome.

“So far we have about 55 stand holders, but I'm expecting that to increase to approximately 80 by the day of the event, “said Sally King from the Wilson Home Trust.

This is a great opportunity to avoid the lost hours of yesteryear, fruitlessly searching for that vital information that seemed always out of your grasp. Forget the endless and more often than not unsuccessful telephone enquiries. The people at the “Know How” expo will not put you on hold. They are there to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction.
