Spark studio is offering new creative arts and self development programmes to all members of the community. The latest sessions start on Wednesday, 12th May, 2010, 7- 9 pm and are facilitated by Abi Raymond & Sally Legg.

Everyone is welcome no matter what your experiences or abilities are.

These Art therapy courses are a catalyst for communication, for expressing ideas, thoughts and feelings, and can increase personal motivation, self respect and autonomy.

The opportunity to make something from nothing involves taking risks, entering into the unknown and learning to trust,

so groups at Spark Studio are facilitated by registered Clinical Arts Therapists and Arts Tutors who work to ensure a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Art Therapy in an open studio group setting offers a space where the potential for creative activity can be nurtured and developed - a meeting which takes place via artwork and the creative process, rather than as a result of symptoms or difficulties, and a means of enriching relationships.

This upcoming 8 week course cost $240.
