| Review of Human Rights in
New Zealand 2010: Free Community Workshop
The Human Rights Commission is reviewing human rights in New Zealand.
To make sure that disabled Aucklanders get a chance to have our
say, Auckland Disability Law and the Human Rights Commission are
hosting a workshop for disabled people, their whanau, and people
involved in the disability community to:
- Find out about the review of human rights and what it says
about the rights of disabled people
- Give feedback about what is in the draft report, and what else
should be added
- Get information about how to make your own submission
- Give the Human Rights Commission information to use in their
report on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
- Talk about how Aucklanders can be involved in writing our own
report on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
When: 10am – 2pm, Tuesday 29 June (lunch
will be provided)

The report is available in alternative formats. Deadline for submissions:
Fri 9 July.
The venue is wheelchair accessible with plenty of off-street parking.
