The Cerebral Palsy Society, Iris and Creative Abilities have joined together to give YOU the opportunity to play in the “Boccia Battle of the Bridge 2010.” Each organisation has contributed towards the funding of this fun pairs competition, which will be held at the Allan Brewster Centre in Papatoetoe, on the 17th and 18th of July. Each participant will be placed in a pairing by the organisers, so this is an ideal opportunity for new players to have a go, as the emphasis will be on the fun and social side of the sport. Throughout the weekend the score will be tallied accumulatively which will add a touch of competitive spirit to the games, especially towards the end of the tournament. |

However there will be plenty of laughter along the way as players encourage their team mates to enjoy the moment of playing the good shots and shrug off the wayward balls. So come along. The fun starts on Saturday 8.30am and ends Sunday 4pm To receive your entry form, click on the link (in the right hand column of this page). As the information says the entry fee is $20 and closing date for entries is Wednesday 7th July. All ramp players must provide his or her ramp and ramp assistants on both days. Lunch will be provided both days at no extra costs. Players with specific dietary requirements are recommended to bring their own food.
