How Does it work:
The programme is based on a voucher system that the applicant uses
to pay for items. If the item exceeds the vouchers allocated the balance
is the responsibility of the member. Vouchers issued are in $5, $10
and $20 denominations to the value of $200 (The value allocated can
vary and may change at the discretion of the Society) Once the vouchers
have been issued they are valid for 6months (Expiry date is shown
on each voucher) No monies will be given in change for vouchers.
Who can use the vouchers:
Only those members whose name is on the vouchers may use the vouchers.
The member is required to be present when making a purchase or having
Repairs & maintenance.
(Don’t forget to have your membership card & vouchers on
you when accessing our suppliers or Maintenance & repairs)
It’s Easy:
Suppliers have been setup by way of a signed agreement, which enables
you to spend your vouchers stress free with no paper work to worry
about. Our suppliers for maintenance and repairs on wheelchairs and
scooters are all mobile, so you do not have to leave home, they will
come to you. Our suppliers are all friendly folk who are there to
assist you.
But wait there’s more:
For those who are purchasing an item through our Disability Resource
Centres, the suppliers are willing to go the extra mile for our members.
If they do not stock an item, they will order it in for you. (Postage/courier
costs will be included in your purchase)
Vouchers can only be used with the Society’s authorized suppliers.
Suppliers contact details are available on the getThis&That page
of our website along with application forms that you can download.
